A LITTLE LOST, A LOT OF ME

Sometimes, I lose track
of the world around me...
and that's okay.

I live in my own lala land,
where my eyes see more
than just what's in front of me,
and my soul remembers
what my heart already knows.

I believe in soulmates
and the kind of love
that transcends distance,
time and space.

Even when we're miles apart,
I believe our souls
still find their way.

So I dream. I hope.
I wait,  not passively,
but with faith that
love, the real kind,
